Grandma’s Turkey Pot Pie

Pot Pies are the ultimate comfort food! And using just the leftovers from the holidays, you can whip up a quick and delicious dish that everyone is going to be excited for!

INGREDIENTS:

  • 2 cups of leftover turkey, cup-up
  • 2 cups of leftover veggies
  • 2 1/2 cups of gravy
  • 1/4 Tsp onion powder (or garlic salt)
  • 1/4 Tsp black pepper
  • 1 (15 ounce) package of refrigerated folded pie crusts (2 crusts)

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
  2. In a large bowl combine all the ingredients, except the crust. Mix well.
  3. Unfold one pie crust and place in a 9-inch pie plate, pressing firmly into place. Spoon turkey mixture into crust.
  4. Unfold the second pie crust and place over turkey mixture. Pinch together the edges and trim to seal the edges. Flute if desired.
  5. With a knife, cut four 1-inch slits on the top of the pie. Bake for 40-45 minutes, or until crust is golden. Let it sit for 10 minutes before serving.
